Who we are

Waffle House Fight Club is St. Louis’s premier request-based live band. We offer a variety of configurations, including theme nights (80s Night, Classic Rock, 90s Country, etc) as well as our popular Battle Royale no-holds-barred request free for all.

Formed in 2024, the band is composed of pianist and vocalist Brian Kasmarzik, drummer and vocalist Drew Lance, and violinist/bassist Mark Hochberg. These musicians are no strangers to the stage and no strangers to each other. They have shared the stage together in multiple projects since 2017.   • Brian Kasmarzik

    PIANO AND VOCALS

    St. Louis songwriter, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist featured in numerous St. Louis acts including Western States, Sean Canan’s Voodoo Players, and the Ross Bell Band. If he’s ever heard it, he can play it. And if he hasn’t heard it, he’ll try it anyway!

  • Drew Lance

    DRUMS AND VOCALS

    St. Louis’s busiest drummer, featured in 30+ bands, duos, and trios such as Hunter Peebles and the Moonlighters, Old Capital Square Dance Club, and JD Hughes Trio. Drew can turn every request on its head into a new genre or style that is sure to pack the dance floor. His skills on the drums are matched only by his soulful vocals.

  • Mark Hochberg

    VIOLIN AND BASS

    Classically trained violinist and bassist and a household name for St. Louis musicians and music lovers. When Mark isn’t on the stage with Waffle House Fight Club, he can be found with a multitude of St. Louis all-star lineups including Brothers Lazaroff, Western States, and Ross Bell Band. Mark’s soaring leads turn every request into a masterpiece that even the band doesn’t know where it will go.
